First Impressions

Buyers start looking (and judging) the moment they step on to your driveway.

When buyers come to take a look at your house when it is on the market, give them something to look at while their agent is fiddling with the lockbox and trying to get the door unlocked. This quiet time is when they are getting an idea of how well maintained you keep your home. Be sure your front door has a fresh coat of paint (or stain). Pots with freshly planted flowers are always a great idea. Colored flowers are beautiful and white flowers mixed in add a nice punch to the arrangement. You walk through your door thousands of times so you may over look the ratty front door mat, but the buyers won’t. It’s an inexpensive investment that goes a long way.
